Opening Prayer:

Almighty God, You are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. It’s another day you have gathered us here for the Sunday meeting. You have never gathered your people in vain. You have already prepared a table before us. We welcome you to dine with us. Bless our service, dear Lord and take total control. In Jesus name, we pray and believe, Amen. Thank you, Lord, because of this day, you set aside for us to come and worship you through this service. Thank You because of everyone who is here for today’s service. 

May You capture our minds so that we listen to you alone. Help us to focus on your teachings today and bless our service in your vineyard. This is our prayer in Jesus name. Amen. Our Dear Heavenly Father, we exalt you. This is the day you have made that we may rejoice and be glad in it. Thank you for taking care of us throughout the week. Bless our Sunday service that we may listen to your word and meditate on it entirely. Bless the speaker of your word and use him as your vessel. Prepare our hearts to receive from you. In You our Lord, we pray, Amen. 

What shall we render unto you Jehovah, for what you have done to us? You have walked with us and allowed us to come to your house. Could you help us to respect your house? Bless our tithes and offerings this day. Anoint everyone who will take part in today’s meeting. Let us worship you in truth and Spirit. In Jesus name, Amen. Lord God Almighty, we celebrate you today. Thank you for creating us and everything in the world. You mandated us to rest on this day. May You send your Holy Spirit in this place to help us understand you. 

Be with us through the meeting, teach, counsel and show us the ways we should follow. Protect us from all evil dear Lord. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen. Heavenly Father, you alone are worthy of being praised. Thank you for everyone in today’s service. Uniquely bless all of us. Bless all children in today’s service, men and women, so that they know that You exist. Send you angels to heal our diseases and meet all our needs. Bless the members of this church and help them to walk in your ways. We need you to need you in our lives. Accept our sacrifices today as a sweet aroma in your eyes. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen. 

Closing Prayer:

GraciousFather, thank you for making this day successful. As we depart, Lord, we ask you to be with us. May your angels go before us and clear the way so that we can reach home safely. Thank you for the lives that you have prepared beforehand for us to touch with your word. Lord, thank you for the laughter and the wonderful time that we’ve shared. May all glory and honor come back to you in everything that we do. It is in Jesus’ name we believe and pray, Amen.

Awesome God, as we leave this place, we put our trust in you because we know you will never shame us. We hope continually in you and praise you more and more. May we tell of your righteousness as we leave this place and even when we come back. Be our guide in everything that we do and lead us to the rock that is higher than us. Help us to abide in your word and let it guide us in all that we do. We shall continue to look up to you because we know that you are our shepherd, and we shall not lack anything. In Jesus’ name, we believe and pray, Amen.

Almighty God, we thank you for this beautiful day. Thank you for enabling us to be productive during the meeting. Lord, let what we discussed here bear fruit in our lives and in other people. Don’t allow the enemy to steal what we have been taught from our hearts. Cover us with the blood of your son Jesus and show us how to use the information that we’ve learned here for your glory. A prayer on God’s faithfulness: “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.” (Psalm 27:1-3).

A prayer for God’s protection and comfort: “The Lord is my Shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:1-4).

A prayer to inspire doing the words of Christ: “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask Me for anything in My name, and I will do it.” (John 14:12-14).

A prayer to dedicate an occasion to God: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:1-2).
