The bible says God gives us peace, joy and grace. Humans can’t provide grace and joy in abundance, only God can. The Holy spirit is the giver of joy and in Him is everlasting joy found. A song says ‘ I have joy like a river, joy like a river, joy like a river in my soul’. Joy cuts across your spirit, soul and body. The joy of the Lord is my strength(Neh 8:10) Many others differences include joy is internal, happiness is external. Joy is long termed, happiness is short termed.
Father I thank you Lord for this exposition on joy, be thou exalted in Jesus name.
More than this exposition, teach me the meaning of joy by yourself in Jesus name.

Joy is a deeply rooted happiness inspired by the Holy spirit. It is derived from the Lord. No wonder the bible says ‘the joy of the Lord is my strength’.
