Powerful Prayer Points For Possessing The Land
Today’s Scripture(s) – Isaiah 57:13b, 15
“…..but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain; … For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”
Do you want to possess the land that the Lord your God has given to you? What is the land that the Lord has given to you? Your land is your home, your work place, your family your land is every place that your foot treads on. Do you want to possess it? When you possess something it is yours, it belongs to you. You own it. I believe that when you “possess” something it should bring you peace, your home should be a place of peace, your work place should be a place of peace and your family should bring you peace. I believe that as a child of the Most High God when you “possess”, you should be sharing and showing forth the saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ to everyone within your reach and you should be taking possession of them for the kingdom of God. So, do you want to possess the land that the Lord has given to you? TRUST IN GOD. If you will put your trust, if you will take hold of trusting in the Father you will possess the land and you shall inherit the Father’s holy mountain. The 14th verse says “And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling block out of the way of my people.” When you truly put ALL of your trust in the Lord He will cause the stumbling blocks to be cast out of your way so that you can possess your land and claim your inheritance. The problem that we so often have is a lack of belief and that amounts to a lack of faith. Someone will say “oh that sounds good, but….” When you feel or say this you put a limit to how the Lord can move in your life. When reading verse 15 I thought why does this verse repeat and then I read it again and the Lord opened my eyes to see that the Father is saying here He is the One who lives in eternity and His name is Holy He dwells in the high and holy place (WITH Jesus), who is of a contrite and humble spirit, He is the one who brings to life, activates, sets in motion, renews the spirit of the humble and the heart of the contrite ones (US, righteous ones). Get this dear ones, the Lord will renew, restore, bring to life, activate, set in motion those who are like His Son and they are the ones who will possess the land and inherit His holy mountain. Are you excited? I am. You better Trust the Father if you want to possess the land.

Father in the name of Jesus, Lord I thank and praise you today. I give you Lord all the glory and the honor, I thank you Lord for your goodness and your mercy. I thank you Lord for your love and your grace. I thank you Lord for being so good and so wonderful to me. Thank you Father God for reaching out and touching me and waking me up this day, thank you for watching over me as I slumbered and slept. Thank you Lord for allowing your angels to encamp round about me and thank you Lord for protecting and shielding me from the attacks of the enemy, I thank you Lord, I thank you. This day Father I put all my trust in you. I trust you Lord with all that is mine. I trust you Lord with my home, I trust you Lord with my work, I trust you Lord with my love ones, my family, my friends, my coworkers I trust you Lord and I place everything concerning me within your hands. I know that you will work all things out for my good because I love you and you love me. Thank you Father, Thank you. I take possession of my land today. I take possession of the land that you have given to me Lord. I will walk the land that you have given to me and I will take back all the enemy has stolen.
