Christians do not know the authority they have. Elijah was a human being like us and he stood and declared, from today there shall be no dew nor rain, but at his word. It is not only for forgiveness that you must pray or when you are sick.
You shall declare something and it shall be established in Jesus name amen.
Abraham, Isaac, Jacob had no formal education in Finance/ management but they declared according to the Word of God and became Rich;

As we stand at our gate and resist the devil, declaring to him, this land belong to me, this house belong to me and you (devil) cannot come in, because you are a child of God. If you are unable to do so it is because:
1- You do not have a covering;
2- You do not have a covenant with God; or
3- You do not have a good relationship with God.
You cannot make declaration without praying, fasting, worshipping and praise. When Elijah was to bring back the rain, be Bible says he earnestly prayed and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth fruit.
We also can do the same. We must remind God our covenant, because the Bible says in the book of Malachi 3:10 says “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine house, ….”if I will not open to you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” We must activate the covering and above all have a good relationship with God.
Having a good relationship with God is the best way to stand up and declare something great. We must maintain our relationship with God and tell the devil that I shall not get rest until you give me what belong to me.
